It’s quite a tough gig to have many puppies in a litter. If you’re a breeder and get to spend time with the little ones, it becomes harder to work with the knowledge that they’ll leave soon.
It’s true for this pet owner; when her pet husky gave birth to sextuplets, she was over the moon. She also felt worried about their future.
People have already been reserving the pups for themselves, so this breeder felt the weight of that decision on her shoulders.
It isn’t easy to raise dogs when you know that you’re gonna give them away at some point. The best one could do is to find the best fur parent for the puppy.
There are many requirements for someone to become a fur parent, and it’s also not cheap to own a puppy of the husky breed. That means the breeders’ work is cut out for them.
We could just imagine this hooman mom looking at her precious kiddies while mama dog fed and attended to her litter. The puppies are oblivious to all of this, and it’s best that way.
Their eyes are still closed, so they mostly eat and sleep a lot, but their breeder needed to work and weigh things to happen soon.
The puppies are generally ready for their new parents, typically in a month or three. This depends on the adopters/buyers’ pet background and the general environment of their respective homes.
We’re glad that there are protocols in place to ensure these little ones’ safety. We’d rest better at night knowing that we did what we could to help them out.
A month or three with these cuties isn’t long enough, so this breeder took the time to take care of her puppies in the best way she knew how. Hope you have fun with your future parents, pups!
