Kristine Brigg’s dog, Cassidy, is a typical active dog. Her dog would run all day and play catch with her in their backyard or in the park.
She was young then. Now that she is getting older, Kristine is trying to find other activities that are less strenuous for Cassidy.
What’s a little bit different with Cassidy is that she loves to swim. Her love for swimming is almost an addiction.
What she does all the time is throw her toy far in the middle of the pool. She will then go and swim to get it back.
She does this repeatedly and tirelessly. The one thing that bothers her is when her toy gets stuck in the pool’s skimmer.
This does happen a lot, and she gets very upset about it. Still, this doesn’t stop her, and she will try to get the toy back from the skimmer.
One time, Kristine noticed that the toy was stuck again. She saw Cassidy swim to try and fetch it.
It looked like a usual swim at the pool. What made Kristine curious was how long Cassidy could stay floating as she hovers around the skimmer.
She was surprised and at the same time, impressed. She could not believe that Cassidy seemed to be treading.
Cassidy was just floating in the water. She was waiting for someone to help her get the toy from the skimmer.
Kristine went into the pool to help her dog and get the toy. As she swam up, she soon realizes something different was happening.
When Kristine got closer, she discovered that Cassidy wasn’t treading. Cassidy was only standing and looking like she was floating and treading.
Cassidy learned how to stand in the pool while waiting for someone to retrieve her toy. Kristine thought it was so funny and laughed as she felt she was tricked by her dog.
