Who would have thought that not only pregnant women would crave burgers, ice cream, and other delicious treats? Yes! Even pregnant dogs crave for irresistible goodies. They tend to eat more than their usual consumption to sustain the little angels inside their wombs.
Take a look at the viral photo of an adorable Golden Retriever, Kula, surrounded by a lot of foods. The photo of the pregnant dog was posted last January 12 on Instagram and has instantly captured the attention of many.
Kula the “Golden Mother” is taking the spotlight on Instagram
The owner of the viral pooch took a snap of his beloved pet surrounded by a jar of pickles, a bag of burger, a cup of delicious ice cream, and a refreshing soda. In the photo, Kula looks delighted and extremely happy while hugging her soda and giving us her genuine smile.
The owner posted the photo on Kula’s own Instagram account (@heyitskula) last month. It has since then accumulated 3,048 likes and 155 comments from their followers as of this writing.
What we have witnessed was not the first motherhood of Kula as she already has a daughter named Rodney. Her second pregnancy was also revealed on Instagram, where Rodney was shown carrying a signboard saying, “I’m excited to announce… I’m going to be Big SISTER!”
The owner of the very adorable Golden Retriever always updates their followers by posting captured moments of Kula’s pregnancy stages up to giving birth to 8 healthy puppies. Be mindful of what you feed your beloved pets
Who couldn’t resist those puppy eyes that look at you asking for a bite of the chocolate bar you are holding? But, before giving in, you might want to think twice before letting them have a bite of your snack.
According to experts, we must be extra careful when feeding pregnant dogs with snacks including chocolates, grapes, raisins, salty foods, bacon, fatty meats, raw meats, fish, and eggs. As much as we want to give all the love we can to our fluffy friends, we must also keep in mind that resisting is also an act of love. Think of your dog’s safety first before their cravings.
