Our dogs will always have a very special room in our hearts and us in theirs. Some studies back up that our dogs and puppies long for us when we’re missing-in-action. The wagging of their tails and wriggly jumps when we come home is proof of that. That’s why it is also difficult for us to be away from them.
A man from Tennessee, Memphis, named Anthony Rogers is an artist but ended up being homeless as a result of tragedies and misfortunes in his life. Thankfully, his canine friend Bobo got his back.
Since he is homeless, he cannot afford a single meal for himself. But that didn’t stop him from providing food for his buddy. But one unfortunate day, Anthony woke up only to find out that his best friend, Bobo, is missing.
Anthony asked his friends and anyone who knew his dog to help him look for the pooch. They started printing posters of Bobo and posted them around the city. The sign stated where Bobo was last seen and described specific features that described Bobo.
A few weeks later, when a dog in Memphis Animal Services matched Bobo’s specific features, which was recognized from the poster by an employee named Emily, she immediately called the number on the sign. After the call, Anthony’s friend quickly gave him a ride to the shelter to see Bobo again to pick him up.
That two had their heartfelt reunion. When Bobo saw Anthony coming, he became wiggly and excited, bouncing himself from the wall, like it was the very first time he was seeing his loving owner. These indicate the loving, unbreakable relationship between the two.
Dogs seeing their humans once again after being away from each other for quite a long time is indeed heartwarming to witness. It’s lovely, indeed, to see dogs showing their love through their unending licks, leaps, and wagging of tails.
The said shelter took good care of Bobo by neutering him, injecting vaccines, and things to help him to be more healthy. They also microchipped him, so it will be easier for his owner to find him if ever he’s missing once again.
They returned Bobo to Anthony with a year-long supply of heart-worm prevention, leash, collar, a bag of dog food, and things Bobo needed. Although Bobo is happy and healthy, he will need to go to the vet once a year to remain being what he is today.
